I recently bought a ford 340[ser#c664286] the L&R arms are welded to the spindle. the bushing are shot. i do not[LAST RESORT] want disassemble if no parts available. No luck line so fare. any advice. thank you

Not easy but necessary. the bushings and thrust components are likely able to be purchased from a bearing company by size. size. Motion Industries and other suppliers can assist. If the welds are radical deep, or the spindle uprights are too worn, replacement might be needed. Jim

Hello Robert, welcome to YT! Here is a couple of links to the manufacturers parts catalog for your tractor. Here is the corporate catalog. CNHI Ford 340 parts catalog I would X out of selecting the dealer when you first open it. If you go to “Functional Group” for the Front Axle and Steering you will see there are two different options available the second looking more heavy duty. You’ll have to choose the one you have. This second parts books is a modified version by the dealer Messicks in PA. Messicks Ford 340 parts catalog You’ll see the “section” layout groupings are the same. It looks like the bushings and thrust bearings are still available although you won’t like the prices. I only looked at the lighter axle in diagram 03A01, web searching by the PNs finds lower cost alternatives to the lower bushing but not the top.
If you select a dealer in the CNHI catalog I don’t think it will give you a price if the dealer doesn’t have that part in stock. Let me know if you have questions about navigating in those parts catalogs.
It looks like YT has the correct lower thrust bearing 00138712 fir the light axle for less money. The bushing they show doesn’t seem to cross to the light axle. YT Ford 340 steering parts
