ford 3400 Tractor number

I know its on here somewhere but cant find it, my Ford 3400 has a plate under the hood with C409690, also has C4012B, then engine 3 L 2 0 B can anyone on here tell me what these numbers stand for? Like I said before Im new to Fords always had John Deeres TIA

Nov 20th, 1973 Day shift when it was set on the line at the factory..... 3400 utility, diesel, trans 540 pto, 6/2 transmission.

As if it matters much 3L20B, which is the date code you decoded, is for the engine. C409690 is the serial number for the tractor and according to my references is a first half 1974 number, C means assembled in the USA. The OP should find a unit code on the ID plate which indicates the final assembly date for the tractor.

thats the part that confuses me is that it has flat fenders and someone said the flat top fenders were European made, it matters not to me either way but I appreciate all the info from yall, its helps me out a lot. I would have never figured out the year
