Ford 4000 Drawbar

I was wondering if anyone had a good measurement or print
for a draw bar to fit my Ford 4000 tractor. I work in a machine
shop and was going to try and just build my own from scratch.
Only thing is I?d need something to go by, they tractor I got is
lacking one. It does have the mount for one thought.

Have you priced them?

They are so common it would be hard to justify making one for what they charge.

Or go measure one, run the numbers. They have them at Tractor Supply, other places.

Which 4000? Dad has a 1962 4000 RC. Ive been watching auctions for ten years for a drawbar.

I?m new to these tractors, have been around JD up till now.
Wanting to say this one is a 65 or newer from what info I?ve see so far.

There is a place I have purchased parts from called Steiner Tractor Parts that has a new one for 60.

Tractorguy2, I bought one of the repops and had the drop section extended at a local fab shop. It came out good.

Got just a simple one made this morning, material going to run
about 10-15 bucks, and that?s with a new pin.

Then it would be a 3 cylinder model and all I have seen advertised would not fit I think as I had a 65 & 68 4000 and a 68 5000. The advertised ones only fit up to the 4 cylinder 64 4000
