ford 4500 loader

I have a 1971 ford 4500 loader 4 speed with a torque converter. I bored the engine block .020 over and when I crack the injector line at the injector I have fuel. I cant get this engine to start I dont think my engine is turning over fast enough . What rpm should a 201 3 cylinder spin to start ? If I have fuel coming out of the injection lines at the injectors my cav pump should be fine yes or no ? Any Thoughts or advice Thanks.

Are you sure the timing for the injection pump is correct? The faster a diesel will turn, the easier it will crank up and run. Check to make sure the battery is fully charged and all starter connections are okay. The starter itself could be just a little weak for a new rebuilt engine. Sometimes a starter will sound like it is turning fast enough, but it is not.

i found the problem I did not check the injectors for the correct pop of pressure . when I checked them they were 2200 psi and I adjusted them to the correct pressure of 2750 psi and the tractor starts right up.
