looking for a owners manual on Ford 5000. looking for a friend he knows less about tractors than I do, and I'm not the brightest bulb. any thing to look out for on them?

ebay.. will sell the OPERATORS MANUAL.. which will tell you everything you need to know for daily operations and normal service and maintenance of the tractor.


You can buy a SERVICE manual and a PARTS manual.... which go into to great detail on how to take it apart and put it back together again. This info is not in the operators manual.

I too have a ford 5000, and I actually found a source for the service manual. I'll be ordering one soon for our old girl.
