Ford 5000

What would be involved in putting remote hydraulics on a 5000 Ford that did not come with them ? I have found a tractor I like but it don't have the remotes on the back which I need. Anyone have any idea what it would cost. Thanks

Not too hard to do, just kinda expensive. Need the valve, hoses, and couplers. The bracket to hold the couplers is nice to have too, so they don't flop around on the axle. Price depends on new or used, single or dual valve... could maybe find a used, single valve for $200-300, and you might get the hoses and couplers too. There's a new, double valve on ebay for $725 + $40 shipping, hoses/couplers not included.

as the others indicated.. it's merly pulling a few bolts on the hyd top cover and swapping a valve for the blank plate.

add new orings, hoses and connectors..

more money than actual wrench turning.
