I've owned my ford 5610-II 4x4 for app 20 years. I rebuilt it and its always worked good. Im looking at adding a front loader to this tractor and am currently looking at a bush hog M646. The seller said that it came off of a 100hp New Holland. It looks to be in good shape, my question is will the loader brackets fit my 5610? Any ideas? Thanks

Depends how handy your are...torch and welder can be used to fit the loader on your tractor.

M646 is a mid mount design so you’ll need the correct subframes for it to fit your tractor
It’s also a bit big, the M446 is a more appropriate size for a 5610

Thanks for the reply, My tractor has the biggest tire set on front and back, I wanted to make sure that the loader would clear the tires . can the sub frame be altered or are they exact match. Thanks

No way it's an exact match.

With the large tires this loader probably won't fit your tractor. When you have the big tires you need to have a tight-fitting loader, and the M646 is for a much larger tractor so it's going to be wider and bulkier.

It's really difficult to find a loader for an older tractor. You pretty much need to find one that came off the exact same tractor, and most loaders stay with the tractor they're installed on.

Bush Hog brand loaders is now Quickie brand
First you need to know what model of 100 hp New Holland tractor the loader came off of
Then contact some dealers to see if they sell Quickie or sold Bush Hog loaders, they should be able to tell you if the brackets are the same or not
