I need to find out how to get a ford 6000 commander
into neutral so it will move. motor stopped need to
get it back to the shop

There is a disconnect lever on the left? side of the trans as you sit on it if I remember correctly.

The disconnect is on the left, but it's back almost against the trumpet housing. It will have two detent positions. If memory serves, pull it away from the trumpet to disengage. Rocking the tractor a bit while trying to move it will help.

The lever is on the left side but it moves forward and backward as opposed to in and out. Forward is disengaged and rearward is engaged. Move the lever forward so you can pull your tractor. The lever is roughly the same height as the PTO selector lever but more towards the rear of the tractor.

After reading Larry NCKS post again, I believe I told you the same thing as he said. When I read his the 1st time, I thought moving it away from the trumpet meant pulling it out, not forward. Sorry Larry.
