Ford 640 carb

Where is the carb drain for the bowl on the carb, someone please help me.

I'm going to venture a guess that removing the needle screw at the bottom will drain this carb. I have a 640 as well, but have not worked on this particular carburetor but have many others since I was a kid. Royse will correct me LOL- he's done a bunch of these.

The plug at the lowest point of the bowl. Very obvious on your pic.

Well if you look closely at the bottom, the is the needle and then a flathead screw on the bottom left. So is that the drain?

I believe its the slotted brass screw on the bottom left in your photo. Its on a 45 deg angle. See copy of manual.

This one. The small screw to the left is a plug for a drill/tap hole.

Is this tractor new to you? It looks to have a 12V conversion, a
spin on oil filter conversion and the carb looks to be one from a
NAA/Jubilee vs a 640. Nothing wrong with any of those really,
just wondering if you're sure what you have.

a spin on oil filter and a 12 volt system.
