Ford 641 stuck clutch

I have a 641 Workmaster that has a stuck clutch, engaged. I tried to free it by soaking it with various penetrating oils through the starter hole but to no avail. I decided to split the tractor and it moved apart about 2 inches and that is all. I have sprayed the clutch spline with PB Blaster, beat it with a bar and hammer, used a come-a-long for force, heat it with acetylene but to no avail. It won"t budge. What to do next?

#1 oil of any sort and a clutch disk do not mix and you have caused your self more problem then you have fixed. The fix if you can do it is remove the clutch pressure plate bolts. Do so a little at a time as in take the first one loose 1 turn then move to the next etc till you have them all out. That will keep from warping the pressure plate and then you should be able to split the tractor the rest of the way. By the way force when working on things is always the last thing to use and 95% of the time that causes things to break

I have only used the PB-Blaster on the spline area of the clutch disk. That seems to be where it is frozen, the clutch disk should slide forward on the spline and does not. I don"t understand if I remove the pressure plate, will the clutch disk then slide be able to slide forward on the spline or do I have to do more work?

It sounds like you have ID'd the exact point of the problem. I see three ways to get it apart. 1st is time and penetrating oil with periodic shock force.
Second is right now by cutting the clutch center with your OA. Third is right now by forcing it apart. The clutch center is the weak point in the drive line and it is not uncommon for clutch centers to break away from the disc while in use. So it shouldn't hurt anything but the clutch. It depends on the time that you have to invest, vs. cost of new clutch disc, which being non-live PTO will not be a lot.

If you remove the bolts holding the pressure plate to the flywheel the PP and clutch disc will stay with the transmission as you roll the back half of the tractor away from the engine.

If you unbolt the pressure plate the pressure plate and clutch disk will stay on the input shaft of the tractor so you can then move the engine away from it and get a better idea of what is causing you the problems plus get it where you can work on it a lot better

I unbolted the pressure plate. I put the come-a-long on the tractor and the pressure plate seperated from the flywheel about 1/2 inch and it won't move any further.
It seems to be holding on the right side around the hydraulic pump but I've tried prying it and it won't move.
What do you suggest next?
