Ford 641

I'm told there is some sort of conversion that allows you to have external
hydraulics from an after market plate that replaces one under the seat. It allows
the 3 pt hitch hydraulics to be used for a Fasco 1200 front end loader

I've bought a loader and need the Hydraulic switch?

Yes there is a way to use the one board hyds for that but the loader would be very slow and that set of valves can be hard to find and also can cost a fair bit. The better option it a front mount pump that runs off the crank shaft and they work well and are not slow and most loaders are set up for them

Also, Zane has a setup for live hydraulics on his web site. The pump is run with the fan belt I think.

A 641 has live hyds already so he does not need that he needs a loader pump set up and a belt drive one does not work well. Yep I have one set up that way and it works but not well

REMOTE VALVE MODIFICATION TO HUNDRED SERIES LIFT


Remove the remote valve adapter plate from the top of the lift cover. There will be a hole under the plate that will gush oil when the engine is turned with the starter. Drill and tap this hole to receive a 1/4 inch Allen hex pipe plug. Directly above this plug drill and tap a hole through the adapter plate to receive a 1/4" pipe street ell fitting.

Remove the plug from the test port at the lower right side of the differential/hydraulics and route a hose from the test port to the control valve/s “in” port you wish to use to operate remote cylinder/s. Then route a hose from the control valve/s “out” port to the street ell you have set into the adapter plate. As long as the remote valve is not being used the three point hitch will work as usual. The three point will not work when using the remote valve/s

It's called a power beyond kit, part number HV5902, sold right here by YT for $90. Go to the parts page and search for HV5902. To use it you must also have an open center with power beyond control valve on the loader. It's a simple bolt on version of the modification Zane posted with a few extra frills.

The plate is installed beneath the block off plate that's bolted to to the hydraulic lift cover on the tractor just below the operator's seat. Once installed you have three new ports on the DV5902 plate - pressure out, power beyond, and return. The pressure out port on the DV5902 is connected to the IN on a open center control valve on your loader. That valve should be equipped with a power beyond sleeve to allow the three point to operate independent of the loader. The Power Beyond Out on your loader valve is connected to the power beyond IN port on the DV5902 plate. The RETURN or OUT port on your loader valve is connected to the return port on the DV5902.

Once installed your loader valve operates independent of the 3pt hydraulics - enjoy.
