I have a Ford 6610 Series2 and Iam looking for a turbo kit for it.It is a fine tractor but it operates a bit sluggish as it has 18.4-34 tires.I know M+w made kits years ago,but I cant find any of any kind now. Thanks

Why not just get a turbo off a 7710, or a junked olne and have the turbo kitted. Keep in mind that you will need to rig an oil supply and drain and you still won't have a 7610... The turbo engines had different cranks, rods, pistons, rings, valves and valve grind angles, head gasket along with different fuel timing (more advance). They also had an engine oil cooler, probably a larger oil pump and a larger filter.
I know there were lots of 5000's and such turbo'd over the years and such, and ran for thousands of hours and turned 100 HP and all that.... but I'm pretty certain that you'll take the pistons out of this one if you drive much fuel at it. Truth be told, the efficiency gain you'll get will probably result in a bunch more power without any more fuel... This could be an expensive little project. You might also want to stick a 13" clutch in her if you do add the turbo. I believe the remainder of the tractor is the same as a 7610 though.
