Does anyone know where to find one? All of the ones I have coming up in searches are the 4 speed and 5 speed ones. Mine is a 1974 Ford 7500 with a 3 speed and turbo diesel.
It's a tractor-loader-backhoe. Same engine and rear axle as a 7000.I have owned and worked on a lot of Ford tractors, but I have never seen or heard of a 7500. Do you have a picture?
I have very limited experience with any of the industrial models, but I would expect it to have the same tach/dash cluster as ag models of its time. Those would have a tach, but no speedometer.Does anyone know where to find one? All of the ones I have coming up in searches are the 4 speed and 5 speed ones. Do you have a picture of one? On mine the face is completely faded away and no needle or glass.I have very limited experience with any of the industrial models, but I would expect it to have the same tach/dash cluster as ag models of its time. Those would have a tach, but no speedometer.
Sorry, I now see everything I wrote below was assuming it was like my 7200. Destroked 450 has it right.Do you have a picture of one? On mine the face is completely faded away and no needle or glass.
Everything I find when searching has speed marks by gear and RPM, so I'm just guessing that this one would be the same..
It is not, only RPM. They put a decal that had speed and RPM by gear. They realized that tire size affected speed and put a decal for the speed with the tires on that tractor.
The cluster also gave you fuel level and coolant temp along with idiot lights for oil pressure and charging plus, an hour counter.
That age of cluster was clockwise.
That one also used a voltage stabilizer to limit voltage.
Look for one for a 7000. Available for 110 on this site.

Replaced by the 750 in 1976... I wonder how much changed.Yeah, from the parts site, that 7500 was only made from '73-'75 and it was only available with a 3x3 torque converter powershift transmission.
