Ford 7500 Tach/speedometer?

Does anyone know where to find one? All of the ones I have coming up in searches are the 4 speed and 5 speed ones. Mine is a 1974 Ford 7500 with a 3 speed and turbo diesel.

I have very limited experience with any of the industrial models, but I would expect it to have the same tach/dash cluster as ag models of its time. Those would have a tach, but no speedometer.

Do you have a picture of one? On mine the face is completely faded away and no needle or glass.

Everything I find when searching has speed marks by gear and RPM, so I'm just guessing that this one would be the same..

Sorry, I now see everything I wrote below was assuming it was like my 7200. Destroked 450 has it right.

It is not, only RPM. They put a decal that had speed and RPM by gear. They realized that tire size affected speed and put a decal for the speed with the tires on that tractor.
The cluster also gave you fuel level and coolant temp along with idiot lights for oil pressure and charging plus, an hour counter.
That age of cluster was clockwise.
That one also used a voltage stabilizer to limit voltage.
Look for one for a 7000. Available for 110 on this site.

According to New Holland parts search the tach for a 73/75 model 7500 is the same as one used in the 8000/8600, 9000/9600 ag tractors as well as the 5500/5550 industrial models
Original # D5NN17360C
New # 87475821
Discontinued, available aftermarket or rebuilt, pricy
Best option is used

Keith, it sounds like you are describing the rectangular cluster type thing, which mine does not have.

Mine has all individual round mechanical (or electrical) gauges for trans temp, hydraulic temp, tach, etc. I'm at Scout Camp this week, so when I get home Saturday I'll take a picture and post here.

EDIT:

Thanks to Destroked, I found this diagram.

For the cost of the replacement, is there a "universal" tach that will work? I'm not concerned about originality.

7000 cluster will not fit
No gear speed indicators on Ford tachs after 1964
This is the one NH parts shows to fit

I assumed it would be like a 7000/7200, also.
