Ford 7600 cab

I have a friend looking for a 7600 Ford factory cab. Does anybody know where to get one here in the states. He has an open station and wants to a factory cab on it.

Not quite in the states, but tractor-part.com shows that Fawcett Tractor Supply in Ontario has one. It's listed as being from a 5600 but says that it fits the 5600, 6600 and 7600:

Thank you. I guess I can for 5600 and 6600 cabs too then. That might help locate one or maybe even a parts tractor with one. I will pass this along.

I posted a Ford salvage yard earlier but it only appeared on Classic view. My advise speaking from someone who has installed aftermarket cabs on tractors back in the 70's-80's is for your friend to trade his open station tractor for one that has a factory cab already on it.

I added a factory cab to a 6600 there are a lot of small parts that are different. I had about $5500 in the swap. good luck

The 6600 after the swap was a pain to get in and out of because of the shift levers. My advice look for a 10 series 2 tractor much better cab. Check for old government mower tractors Not much wear on the drive train.

I would just sell the damn thing and go buy a 7710. Lot of small parts to change and then you turn the tractor into an absolute wh0re to work
on afterwards.

Agree. Not only do you have something almost impossible to work on, you end up with something that requires a gymnast to get into.

Thanks for the help. He can't get rid of the tractor since its his moms. It was the first tractor she bought when they ran the dairy farm. It has sentimental value to her or he would sell it.

Well, if you just need a cab to keep the rain off your head, I'd be looking for an older aftermarket cab. You pretty much take the fenders off and bolt the thing on.
