Good afternoon,

The tractor won’t draw fuel from the aux tank. As soon as the main tank is empty it shuts down immediately. Once I fill the front tank and prime it, it fires right back up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Could be sucking air at the water separator. Does that have all new (and correctly installed) gaskets lately? I've also added electric fuel pumps between the lower tank and water filter on more than one occasion. It can make a big difference with that problem.

Ok thank you. So based on the 2 suggestions, it’s safe to assume the fuel in the auxiliary tank is drawn up by the fuel pump and I am relying on gravity for fuel from the main tank right now. I will check for leaks or air being drawn in at the seals.

The system as you have it now relies on the injection pump to pull fuel from the tank through the water filter, through the spin on filter and then into the pump. There is no supply pump. From the front tank that may not be too difficult, as gravity helps some. Once that tank is empty it all has to come uphill from the lower tank. It gets harder now. The later model tractors came with an electric pump built onto the fuel filter base. Why do you think they did that?
