Rewired my 800 ford tractor using John in La"s diagram and everything worked fine until I tried to turn it off. The tractor kept running. I finally had to choke it to kill it. I double checked the wiring and it looked good. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

ell, it looks like that has been over an hour ago, if the times/time zones are alright, so something in wirung is probably hot or drained battery by now. If battery not dead, then start pulling off wiring from coil, working back toward switch, battery, etc. until you find where the power is not being switched off.

NEVER MIND! I found the problem. I didn't place the warning light in the #1 alternator wire. Just call me Mr. Potato Head.
