ford 8000 flywheel torque

what are the torque specs on a ford 8000 fly wheel
bolts?

Should be 165 lb-ft...... but it wouldn't hurt to check the manual if you have one...

I do not have an IT manual

8700/9700 manual calls for 100-110 lbs-ft. That should be plenty for an 8000.

The lower torque spec mentioned is for hex head cap screws while the figure Rod mentioned is for socket head cap screws.

I was thinking more in terms of 10 series when I said that... assuming that they'd be the same... not.
