Ford 801 a good deal?

1957 Ford 801 with a loader and bush hog, everything works as it should. It is a gas, live pto, power steering, rims in good shape, rear tires decent. Location is Central, KY. He is asking $4200 for it, is that a good deal? Are these reliable tractors?

What transmission? If it’s a five speed and live pto, then it’s either an 860 (if it’s a 1957) or an 861 if it a 1958 or later. I’ve got a 1958 861 gas with loader that I’ve been happy with. Don’t use it a lot though. It uses a lot more gas than my MF135. I paid $4200 for mine 20+ years ago, but I don’t think they are commanding those prices anymore, at least not in my area (Vermont). I think now they are usually selling for around $3500 max.
