Ford 841 Paint Colors

I'm getting my Ford 841 painted next month, just want to make sure he gets the right paint colors. Does anyone know what the Ford red color is and what is the Ford cr?me color of paint? I don't want it to be white and any red. Also would appreciate any pictures anyone's newly painted Ford tractors.

The red is called Orange red which took the place of vermillion for 1958. The gray was also new for 1958 and went through 1963 when it was replaced with white. Here is my 961.

Note that the seat is black as is the radiator. The starter and generator should be red. Get new lug nuts and put them on when you get it back. They don't get painted.

According to Just 8n's it would be Vermillian Red and Medium Gray. They carry it. I see on this site that they list a red paint, but are calling it "Bright Red". It sounds like you want the correct color. Good for you.

Jim those are the correct colors for the "100s. but the colors changed for the "01s"

Showcrop, thanks for the correction. I got that info from a book on restoring Ford tractors. I have found errors in it before, so I should have been aware.
