still tinkering -w- my 850 ford as usual i would like to make a few changes.
it has the 3 blade cooling fan and i would like to add a 6 blade fan, do they make a 6 blade fan for this model? does anyone have one for sale?
also i need the sheet metal piece for the air filter, this piece fastens to the hood on left side with sheet metal screws and fits up to the air filter so as to get fresh outside air directly to the engine. did that make sense?
i would like to know if anyone has one for sale.

Al,post back when you get the six blade, I'd like to know if it makes much difference. I have a 640 that likes to overheat when bush hoggin'. Feel free to email me if you need help finding those parts.

i have already done this switch on my ford 2000 i also use it for grass cutting 11 acres and it does work the motor hard
switching to 6 blade fan and completely removing the muffler from under the hood maintains the temp at 180 degrees on the hotest day and it has raised the oil pressure 5 pounds higher.
i have always questioned the placement of the muffler under the hood.
i have already removed the muffler from under the hood on my 850 and will soon put a 6 blade fan on it al

think about it---3 blades move more air than a 6 blade. How many airplanes have 6 blade props.
