Hello again. New gramps tractor to us. We are changing all fluids. Drained Trans already. What is the suggestion (is it 80 or 90) for Trans, Hydro fluid and rear axle.? Thank you. This tractor will get limited use and stored in barn during winter.

The tractor originally had 90wt oil in the transmission, rear end and steering.
The hydraulic system gets hydraulic oil. Make sure the jug says compatible with Ford 134 oil.

There are those that say you can use Ford 134 hydraulic oil is the trans; hyd system and rear end.
Their logic is modern tractors do this and if you have a seal leaking between the system cases you have no chance of mixing oils in the wrong system case.
To me that is like saying my 50's car used 40wt engine oil so it should be good in my 2024 car.
Use the oil the system was designed for and let the tractor last another 50 years.

I use the split 90 weight and hydraulic oils in my 8N, Jubilee, and 950, but am getting ready to move over to the new UTFs.
