Ford 8600 lift problem

Hey, I have a ford 8600 and the hydraulic lift and everything else works fine. My problem is the lift lever wants to drop all the way down, engine running, or not running. If you hold it, it works perfectly fine. Any ideas?? Thanks!

If this is the 3pt it is probably the friction on the lever needs adjusted and no I don't have a clue hoe to do it on a ford.

That’s what I was thinking too because we had a 4000 do it too, but on this tractor it is a completely different set up and I don’t see one.
