Ford 8600 pros cons

I am looking at a 1973 8600 with about 6200 hrs on it. Don"t know much about them but the guy said it is mechanically sound and doesn"t have any blow by or use oil. Any thing to watch out for or suggestion when going to look at it?
Thanks Matt

Make sure the steering still works properly when it is fully warmed up. Check the rear hubs to see that they fit the axle tightly - not wallowed out and loose. Make sure it shifts right - no loose or worn linkage or bent or broken shift forks. Try the Dual Power (most 8600's have it, but not all) when the oil is warmed up, make sure it shifts up and down crisply. Ask if he's been using coolant conditioner, as it's NOT cheap to have to sleeve a 6-cylinder block.
