Starting from the fire wall up...Are they numbered 1 2 3 4 or visa,versa 4 3 2 1

Nr 1 is closest to radiator - Nr 4 is closest to battery.

This is the same with 98% of in line engine which the 8N is. #1 will be to most front/radiator end of the engine and #4 will be the one closes to the driver and the most rear ward one on an engine. That be like I said true on 98% of engine be it a 2, 4, 6, or 8 cylinder in line engine
