Drained hydraulic fluid out of all 3 chambers, added new Universal hydraulic fluid in filler hole above transmission.
Fluid did not flow to remaining 2 chambers.
Hydraulic & rear end reservoirs appear to be dry.
Can anyone shed some light on why & what to do?

You have so much sludge in the bottom of the transmission that the opening to the pump/differential is clogged up.

Time to drop the pump and clean everything out.

From the research I have done, mainly videos. I believe it to be a 8N
But it does have 3 fill / observation ports and one dip stick on the hydraulic chamber

Does it have a flat head engine or a valve in head engine?? As in do the spark plugs sit vertical or are they more like a 45 degree angle?? If at an angle it is not an 8N

Watched Video on identity your Tractor, all signs point to late 50 s 8N ( 3 digit stamp on tractor below oil bath & size rear end differental and more.
My question is after watching 50 more videos mainly Dan Gingell & Rachel Gingell ( Farm Tractor Repair. Com ).
Is there two hydraulic pumps? I can see the one piston pump on the side of the tractor . Is there another in the hydraulic Reservoir ?
Also if sludge is my problem what is the best way to clean it out?
Thanks

The pump on the side of the tractor tells me you do not have an 8n. 8n pump is inside of trans housing.

I looked at the spark plugs after your last question, they are at a angle.
If It is not a 8N , what method would you use to identify it?
It definitely has 3 digits (850) stamped in the steel above & directly behind where the starter mounts.

The first thing I need to do is determine what tractor it is .

Becareful this weekend, the Ozarks are going to a mad house.

Thanks for the help & information

This is getting exciting!
This is my first tractor, traded a Zero turn , for it and a bush hog.
Never heard of a 850 , understood the 3 digits meant , 8 meant 800 series & 5 represents transmissions speed , don t remember what the zero stood for.
Thanks, I will be trying to find info online about the 850.

whowardm, now that you know what tractor you have, you could order a copy an owners manual and a copy of the I&T FO-20 service manual. They are available on this site.
Also, the forum above this one is for all of the rest of the Ford model tractors, including your 850.
