Ford experienced mechanic

Mr. Douglas

New User
Can anyone recommend a mechanic with Ford Tractor
background in or around Central Kentucky. I am at wits end
with trying to work on my dads collection of 40s-80s Ford
tractors, and ready to call in expert help before I start
throwing tools and breaking stuff. Feel free to post or
private message any recommendations.

Maybe Goober and Gomer near Mayberry.
Seriously tho, the Fords are a simple machine and the joy of collecting and playing with them is to tinker on them. If you have specific problems the Ford Shop manuals and Operators Manuals are really good and step by step repair and you can always ask specific questions on this forum. If you dad has a collection of Fords then surely he has the Ford manuals somewhere.

Only about 5 miles from me. I m on Boyers Chapel just past the county line.

Try my email jeffclevinger00 at geemail dot com. Obviously need to change that to the correct format.

I ll reply then we can talk by phone if you want.

I ve got several old Fords, from N series to 1000 series. Worked on other makes and models over the years. Farm as hobby only, work on tractors as a hobby only.

Mr Douglas, just following up on that last post as I never received an email if you are still interested.

And maybe I wasn t very clear.my email is open on this site or jeffclevinger00 at gmail dot com.

I just finished an IH 340 tune up and have some free time if you d still like some help.
