Ford Flail Mower

Morning friends. I bought a pretty nice looking 1971 gas 3000 that supposedly only needs a water pump. It's been setting for years. It came with a Ford model 917 22-184 mower. I only paid $300 for it and going to try and get it going. I'm trying to get the mower going first to use. I've got everything greased up and broke lose but run into something strange. The grease zerks on the pto shaft aren't any size that I can find. I've looked at TSC, Autozone but no luck. I've looked through my box full in my shop and no go. One is good but one is missing. I'm probably going to drill and tap it to the next size up. Just thought it was strange nothing fit. Could it possibly be off size for that specific pto? Thanks.

Did you try metric and drive-in ones or just SAE? Part breakdown indicates it may have been 1/4"-28 TPI.

1/4" is to small and 1/8" is to big. I looked for a 5/16" but can't find one.

Did you try metric? M8 is about the same size as 5/16

Make sure it has threads. IH in the seventhies used some drive in zerks. Hateful things for me anyway.
