I have a small older drum "chuck and duck" chipper powered by a Ford Industrial Engine. Here are the numbers from the stamped plate on the block.

SERIAL: 5188-F29KC
TYPE: B8PD-6002-GP
OPTIONS: SO-134

On the opposite side of the block I believe are the casting numbers from what I've read online so far.

I'm looking to get parts to do a tune-up like plugs, wires, cap and rotor etc. Not sure what kit to buy, I believe based on what I've read and the options number being SO-134 it's a 60's Ford industrial motor.

Any advice on where I can get parts or more information on my motor would be appreciated.

I had the 172 in my self propelled sprayer. Good engine. I got all tune up parts right off the shelf at Napa.

Any idea where to look for spark plug wires? I know I'm gonna need a specific set to match the distributor. Thanks.
How about right here from the sponsors and host of this YT forum?
For $15 shipping, you can order up to $249 worth of parts. After that, shipping is free.

Thanks a bunch, I'll be ordering shortly!

Hello, I'm basically in the same situation and I was hoping to possibly get some help......older chipper (chuck and duck) with a industrial Ford engine. Its an inline 6 with a tag on the engine that states.....
Serial: 11191-L23KH
Type: C5PG-6002/HT
Options: FS0-130

I did a Google search and this thread came up but not much of anything else that would help me. I have no idea of the year or size of the engine other than its an inline 6. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ford sold industrial engines that were designed by various other division, like the tractor division, the truck division, and even the car division. Can you post the casting number from the block? It should be a long string of letters and numbers, with a 6015 in there somewhere. Post all of the letters and numbers before and after the 6015, even if there are large gaps between them.

C5PG seems to be a 300 CID inline 6 Ford Industrial engine. See manual image I borrowed from Ebay. Research C5PG or Ford 300 engine and you should be able to ID and find further information.

Unfortunately I am unable to take pics of the block at this time. The unit is located at the homestead over in the next county, about a 90 mile drive from my current location. I'll try to get the numbers the next time I'm over there though. Thanks in advance for what info you were able to give me, much appreciated.
