Ford N9 dating

Hello, I just purchased a Ford N9 tractor and, of course, the serial number isn't visible. I'm hoping someone might help me figure out the year model. Below is a list of things I've checked to try and date it. The only thing that seems to put it on or after 1944 is that the axle radius is an oval tube (and not I-beam). Everything else seems to point to on or after 1941. Is there anything else I could check to determine the age of the tractor?

Engine Casting Code C298 8N
Tractor configuration seems 9N (3 forward gears with reverse)
Freeze plug (welch plug) next to oil filter
Safety Lock starter button (1940 9N12500-)
Ignition key on left side of steering column
Steering wheel has 3 spoke design with uncovered steel spokes (1942 9N99047 - 9N105411)
Single Rib fender (1940-)
2 piece riveted axle hub (1940 9N41500-)
Back side spindle grease fittings (1941)
Metal hood, grill (not sure original, has four slots in central bar), separate dash panel/steering column (1941 9N80770-)
11.2x28 rear tires
Oval tube axle radius rods 1944
Hinged fuel cover (1940 9N150000)
Hydraulic dipstick on right rear side of tractor on rear inspection plate
Hood side panel mounting bolt
