is there a differnce between a12 volt solidnod
anda 6 volt ichanged my naa over to 12 volt but
not the solidoid .

No difference, if the one you have is working now keep on keeping on.

Yes there is a little difference but not much. The big thing is the 6 volt one will work on 6 or 12 volts but the 12 volt one will not work well if at all on 6 volts

Ditto, keep the 6v solenoid, duty cycle is so low its hard to thermally damage it
