Ford Powered Skid Steer

This is a little OT, but I'm in need of a fuel pump for a Ford VSG-4111 motor in a skid steer. From the little info I can find a new fuel pump is around $200. I'm wondering if anyone knows of an automotive fuel pump that might work on a 4cyl VSG-4111 motor.

My way would be to remove the fuel pump and take it into an auto parts store. If the person behind the counter has been there very long they will likely walk to the back and return with a pump that will work.

My alternative way is to put an electric fuel pump on and just bypass the mechanical one. The advantage to that is it starts pumping as soon as the ignition is turned on so by the time you start to crank it the carburetor bowl is full of fuel.

I've considered converting it to an electric fuel pump. I'm just not sure what specs I should be considering when buying the electric pump.

I have used the little click clack pumps the parts stores sell in the past with good success. They are rated for 5-7 psi and are easy to install. I have never tried on on a tractor though.

That looks like the one that is on it now. I'm not about to spend $200 for a fuel pump. Its a long story; short version is neighbor 1 moved
out of state, so he parked it at neighbor 2's house. Neighbor 2 then parked it at my father-in-law's house. Its been there close to 10
years. I need to find a cheap alternative.

Simple fix is bypass the mechanical pump with a small electric pump that makes 4-7 psi fuel pressure.
Amazon show some for around $20
