Ford tractor junk yard

does anyone remember see a large ford tractor junk yard off I 81 down near virginia i believe, i stumbled on this place one day while on a road trip i was doing for work. back then i did not have the tractor but i was looking for a smaller like a 1710. this place had so many old fords even half engines rear axles split in half sorted in rowes in a big hilly lot. i just cant remember now where i was.

If you're on I-81 in VA you can see a large collection of used tractors and parts on the west side of the hwy in Abingdon,VA. The business itself is on US11 which runs parallel to I81.

I remember seeing this gold mine. My wife and I drove past it a couple months ago. While my mouth was agape, she informed me we did not have room for tractor parts in the mini-van. I really wish it was closer to me so I could check it out

A quick google earth search tells me that the place is Abingdon Equipment Company, phone: 276 628-2372. They appear to be a Kubota dealer with a lot of second hand tractors and equipment. On highway 81 where Lee Road runs into 81.

Oops....on Highway 11 where Lee road runs into 11. Interstate 81 is behind this place and parallel to highway 81 as someone said earlier.

that is the place thanks so much EMAN85 I will be driving past there on wed and stop to look for a couple of the OEM 3-point control adjustable stops. how can FORD be asking 41 dollars for a small block of steel with a thread rod coming out OMG! so i will roam around and see what is back there.
