Ford354 planter

AGCO may still have parts. if it was me I would stay away. Each blower would need power to run that could be putting a load on the tractor if it's a older model tractor. For Smaller Acres better to find a plate planter. I plant 5-20 acres a year with a White 543 Plate planter

Thanks got 2 309 that are good n 1 for parts just tinkering but guy only wants 600 for it any other info will help messicks says lots of parts are obsolete or not available will look at agco site thanks

For what those small planters are going for you can buy some of the 8 row air planters from IH and would not need to fool around with plates and all that nonsense. Some were driven with the PTO and some were a PTO driven hydraulic pump back to the fan. IT would take a 40 plus horse tractor to pull one and control it if it was hilly and more if you use the fertilizer boxes on one. We always planted with an 806 or 930 Case on it and had pulled it with a 574 a few times. If it was wet we would have liked a MFWD on it for the extra pull across some of the places in fields.

Anything else helps are parts hard to get etc retired just hobby for now
I would guess they would not only be hard to find but impossible to find as in my 81 years have never seen either version, Or even knew they were ever made
