Found an 1896 with 2200 hours 2wd and cab with faded red paint. Current bid is $8000. also a 1290 2wd in pretty good shape for $3000. How many can I get without getting in trouble?

1896? Is that the big CaseIH tractor? Or is that a Tenneco Case ? Cause by golly $8,000.00 US is a steal for the CaseIH model. If you get into trouble for buying it, just load it on a flat bed, and bring it to Ontario. I would love to have one. And helping to get a friend out of hot water and buying a tractor in the same day, couldnt get much better than that!
