I know a guy that has a Friday tractor for sale. This unit has a chrysler engine and was used in the orchards in southwest mich.(It will go 35 mph down the road). The tires are average,it is dented up some but appears to have all of the sheet metal,fenders,etc...What are these units worth?

I guess I should clarify-He want's to know what others have sold for.Has anyone seen or heard of one that has sold, and for how much?Thanks-Mark

Those things are so darned rare that finding an actual sale of one could be a problem. There's somebody on here who has one. Can't remember his name though. I talked to him at a show a few years ago when he brought it up. He's from Ohio I believe. He might be the one to talk to. I think I'd post this on the Orphans forum too. Might be somebody there with an idea.

Try Chris Proeschel in Hamilton OH; he is (or was) the Pres of Custom Club Int'l, which includes Custom, MW Chrysler-eng and Lehr Big Boy:

Dave Friday's Chrysler-engined units were derivatives of the original mid-30's farm co-operatives Chrysler-engined CO-OP. Custom cont'd prod when the co-ops gave them up (the MW, the Lehr and others are rebadged or built under license ?? Customs)
I'm not sure the club includes them, but it's a place to start, and club members may be interested in purchasing.
Some of Dave's had a two speed rear; if yours will only do 35 it must have the one-speed. Good luck.

Just remembered there"s a kind of Friday tractor site: fridaytractor.com, that"s still there, with an email for the site owner. Should be another good place to inquire.
