Was a front end loader made for a 1941 9n and if so does anyone have a picture of it or one that someone has fabricated. thanks

T Owens.........while there were over 400 3-point implements made for the N-Tractor, there was NEVER a Ford designed loader. I grant you that a FEL is handy-er than a 2-wheel wheelbarrow but all FEL's turn yer nimble N-Tractor into a bull-charging farce.

Iff'n I need FEL work, I "hire" it done or rent a nimble 2-cyl 4wd YammaBottaDeere from local dealer. In the meantime I use the rear mounted 3-point scoop. .......Dell

I have been using my mother-in law's N with a Dearborn loader a few times this month loading manure for my wife's garden and once you get the hang of not having power steering it's not bad. Steer wide, take your time and think things through, like adjusting the bucket angle as you raise it and you'll be fine. I have an N with a Davis loader as well- it's a lot easier to use though.

I agree- just never turn the wheel while stationary and you'll do fine. I moved 12 truckloads of rip-rap with my 8N and Wagner loader.

However, I now have a Kubota with FEL and am in heaven!

Yes, Several loaders were made. Some manufacturers had several models. The way I even got into the N tractors, was the need for a loader. We found a 1949 8n with a Wagner loader and Dearborn blade in rough but running, actually fairly original, condition for less than $3000. I was going to spend that much for a new loader for my 240 farmall, and didn't like the idea of a bucket on a row crop tractor anyway. I wasn't a fan before, but would never consider getting rid of my N now.

Your loader looks like mine. Tell me, Do you have any problems fueling it. I can't use the nozzle on the fuel can. I have to use a siphon hose to fuel it. Do you find that to be the case with your?
As far as having a loader on the N, I wouldn't be with out it. But it is nice to have a second tractor with out one.

No not really I got to use a fummal though to gas her up. she's my work machine for sure after geting the points fiked right on it she runs great only reason I'd trade her in would be for some thing with power stearing
