Front loader help!

Frost2810

New User
I have a 2810 and recently bought a loader I'd like to put on the front I think it came off a ford 600 physically i can modify to make it fit but I'm not sure what i have to do to get it working I was thinking only 2 ways 1. If there is some sort of adapter or special crank pulley i could get so i can bolt to the loaders pump or bypass it and 2. Hook control valve direct to my pto hydraulics (which may mean slower lifting but as long as it works would be okay) Hydraulics aren't really my thing so I'm not even sure if either is possible. Does anyone have any advice?

Still trying to get help here are some pics of what im working with

That picture is of the flow control valve for the 3 point lift. It controls the speed of the lift and there is no way to tap it for external hydraulics. You need to get a HV4902 or HV5902 hydraulic adapter plate. They are identical except the HV5902 has an additional port for "Power Beyond" in case you want to run more than one external control valve. If all you need it for is the loader, then all you need is the HV4902. This site sells them both:

The hydraulic blocking plate setup was the same for pretty much all Ford tractors (except maybe the 6000 and the Shibaura made compacts) from 1955 through the mid 1980's, and I am pretty sure through at least the xx10 series and possibly some of the xx30 series as well. Not all advertisements for those plates list all possible models that they fit just because there were so many different models, so they usually only list a handful. here's the same HV4902 plate for sale on another site (for a bit more money) that does specifically list the 2810. This site won't let me post the link because they consider that other site as their competition, so copy the line below and remove the spaces and paste it into your browser (depending on your screen resolution it may wrap on your screen, but paste it as one line):

Also, that last picture shows the front mount hydraulic pump mounted to the loader frame. It was run via a drive shaft and a couple of splined couplers off of the crankshaft pulley. If you can get that frame to mount on your 2810 with the pump shaft lined up with the hole in your bolster, that would be the preferred method of providing hydraulic power for the loader rather then using the 3 point hydraulics. Those front mount pumps generally have a much higher gpm flow rate and the loader will be faster.

Thank you very helpful I'm still new to tractor ownership but can usually fix or build anything in fact had to rewire this tractor when my neighbor gave it to me. It looks like I'm gonna have to tear into the front and see if I can get that bolster plate postioned like you said that seems like the way to go.
