Front mount plow

I found a front snow plow blade with the undercarriage for sale for $250. I've always wanted to get one. It's advertized to fit a Ford or Ferguson. The hydraulic ram is on, but no pump. Does that sound like a good price? I'd like to post a pic, but I'm not sure how to do so.
Thanks!

Sleezy........$250 for full undercarrage cable operated lift plow sounds like good deal.

Dunnno about yer hydraulic pump or ram requirements. There are "schemes" to convert cable-lift to hydraulic-lift, so AFTER you buy yer find, and you know what model yer FSP is, check the archives at www.n-news.com for manual. Study the manual so you are "conversant" with the plowing lift scheme and we can help you figger out the hydraulics........Dell, at the foot of SNOWY 14ft Mt Rainier in HOT WASHINGTON where rivers are FLOODING from snowpack melt.....row, row, row yer boat

Back when I first got my 9n, and before I tore it apart where it now sits waiting a rebuild the past 8 or so years, I bought an undercarriage snowplow.
Funny story actually.
I was hot and heavy into getting stuff for my very first tractor, which was to do duty on my small 5 acre plot here in Western Washington.
One day I see the snowplow on Ebay, and being the slickster I was, waited for the last minute to put in the winning bid. Woooo hoooo!!!! $150!!! SCORE!!
:P

Forgot to figure in what the freight would be for the VERY HEAVY plow all the way from Michigan to Washington State!! LOL.

Lesson learned. $150 for a somewhat rare implement is NOT a good deal when shipping ends up over $500..... LOL.

I paid the freight. I still have it. Whenever I get the N rebuilt (hopefully this year), I'll get to use it.

Moral of the story...an old one..but a GOOD one...... "LOOK before you leap" :?

When you say it has a hydraulic ram on it - It makes me think it is for the later nna or 600 series with live hydraulics. The 9,2,8 Ns used a cable lift.
The mountings are very different
The Ns go all the way to the rear
The hundred series mount to the transmission holes that aren't on the Ns.
Either way the price seems good.
Hope this helps you.
