front rim leaking air

How can I determine what size rim I need for the front left for a 1950 8n. It has a 4x19 tire on it. will the 4.50 x 16 fit that tire.

Short answer no. one is 19 inches the other 16, just a tad different.

It should have a tube in the tire that is leaking, they are not tubeless. Take it off and take it to a tire should and have it repaired.

The 4 x 19 tire fits a 3 x 19 rim.
A 16 inch tire will not fit a 19 inch rim or vice versa.
If it's leaking air, all you probably need is a new tube or a patch
on the old one unless your tire is bad or is poking/pinching the
tube. Bad cracking, nail, thorn, etc.
The rim doesn't hold air, but if rusty could cut the tube.

Yep, 4 x 19 tire on 3 x 19 rim. Probably puncture -or bad valve stem. Take it to your local service station or tire shop to fix. Mine charges $7 to fix. *8Ns had 5.50 x 16 and 6.0 x 16 wheels and tires optional as FEL were offered.

Boy, I haven't seen a service station fix a flat in 40 years around here. Brings back memories.
