Front suspension pivot pin

Does anyone know if the stock front axle pin looks like the picture on the yt store? http://www.ytmag.com/store/parts/pics/wm_2N3126E.jpg

I have a 2n with a Dearborn loader. It has a front mount hydraulic pump. The pin has a hole all the way through it unlike the picture. The bushing was horible so I replaced it. However, I didn"t want to spend that much on the replacement pin if it isn"t correct. The pin is worn but not too bad.

AFAIK all of the OEM pins had the keyway style slot. When adding a loader pump the slot is commonly drilled or ground out for the shaft. Be careful - the pin used on the early 2N with the cast front axle support is longer than the pin used on the later 2N and 8N that have the stamped steel support.

The NAA pin has the open thru hole and will work on the N tractors. However, since he has a Dearborn loader he might have the Dearborn type bracket with the pin. A picture of the old one would help.

As a point of interest the 2N3126E pin at 4 3/8" body length, is long enough to replace the discontinued flangeless pin used in the early 2N.
A tapered hole must be carefully drilled and ground out in the pin body for the pin retaining tapered cap screw that is located top of the front support behind the radiator.
The 2N3126E pin flange can be left intact.

Yes - or you can just buy one of the flangeless 9N-3126A repops I make - last I looked about $20 cheaper than 2N-3126E. Set screw also available for a small additional charge ;-).
