Front tractor tires

The brand on the tires is actually "Cropmaster". Best I can find out, they are made in India and China. Hard to find tires that are made in the USA. Might be a USA company, but that has little bearing on where the tires are actually made. I am still happy with these tires so far.

(quoted from post at 08:57:04 09/13/23) I went ahead and bought 1 tire from amazon. I just went back to the same tire 5.50X16. Hopefully it will be the same size as the one that's on the tractor now. If it isn't I'll replace the other one too. $74.19 and free shipping so I guess it was worth the chance. I usually like to replace them in pairs but this tractor sit's now more than it gets used. The only thing we use it for is bush hogging the fields around the club house and keeping some of the roads clear on the property we hunt. I didn't see much reason to up-size them because the ones that are on there seem big enough. The tractor doesn't have a FEL so they should be fine, that is unless they are undersized like the other two I got.

I finally got the fuel tank off yesterday and what a pain. I know I'll have to double up on my meds before I try and re-install the new one.

I know it's a little late, but BKT makes a decent tire. The sheetmetal can be a PIA the first time you have at it but she's pretty simple after you've R&R-ed it a few times.

(quoted from post at 17:19:37 09/12/23) I like the look of these, I believe them to be more common/popular in Europe. Any better performance over the three rib??

I had a set that looked like that but were marked "Made in Russia". They wore like iron!
