Frontend Loader jerks, squeals when lowering

I have a Ford 800 series with a DUAL Front-end loader, with Gresen control. When I lower it, it will make quite a squeal and jerks hard enougth to rock the tractor. I can lower it successfully if I push the lever super slow. Raising it is not an issue - smootth, a little noisey only when cold. I know very little about hydraulics but trying to learn. What should I be doing, checking, .....

recheck all the mounts to see if they are tight
GREASE every fitting you can find
look for any breaks or cracks in the arms, etc
good luck

Check to see if the loader valve has load checks in it, if so you may need an orfice in the line to the loader cylnder to keep the load checks unseated.
