Frost affecting remote locks?

Remote doorlocks seem to be more sluggish when its frosty,seem to work well when cold,is there a sensor that could be affected by frost on a GM or could it be dampness in the air,BTW new batteries in remote.
 
Lubricate the lock cylinders, and use a key once in a while to keep them free. The power lock actuators have to turn the lock cylinders ,too.
