Fuel Filter Size/Change

I have a YM2610D that I want to change the fuel filter. I ordered the 3263 that was listed (3.49" long), but its almost 7/8" longer than what I have in there. My filter is approx 2.625" with bowl to match. Did they go to a longer filter at some point? Anyone know what the smaller filter p/n is? I'm sure it's original.

There are two sizes, a shorty and a long. Mine originally can with the shorty on my YM2610, but in a short time would clog up and leave me stranded. I opted to buy the long filter and the taller bowl.

Best to go with the longer taller filter and bowl. You receive more life out of the fuel filter and it's better to visually check. The diameters are all the same. Contact Brand M and request the longer taller size parts.
