fuel flow issues

I have a side mount dist 1950 8N. due to the gas tank rusting up I replaced the fuel tank, fuel line, fuel bowl, and the carb. I realize not all of this was necessary but I did it. I still do not have good fuel flow from the tank. I have replaced the fuel bowl twice. to test it I took the fuel bowl and new line, which is not pinched and tested for flow with a rubber hose connected straight to the tank. and had excellent fuel flow. so I blew out the fuel bowl assembly and reinstalled the fuel bowl and fuel line. I then tested it again. poor results. any ideas. Thanks in advance

What are you calling poor results? You should be able to fill a pint jar in 2 to 3 minutes out of the carb drain.

Water Pig,Are you testing the flow with 3 gallons or more gas in the tank, and the shutoff valve opened 2-3 turns?
Can you easily blow through the fuel line and the sediment bowl opened 2-3 turns with your mouth?

I had two gallons of gas in the tank. the Sediment bowl was opened 2 turns. I did not blow on the hose through the bowl.

Open the valve all the way or put more fuel in the tank. You are at the reserve level with 2 gallons in the tank. 2 turns is main tank, all the way is the reserve.
