Fuel for storing tractors

I have a couple dozen tractors to get running for an estate and wondering if any type of fuel will store in the tank for a year or should I drain the tank afterwards and use a portable tank to move them out of the sheds as they are sold?
Thanks

Fill the tanks but run the carburetors dry. Best fuel is aviation 100LL. But if not available 91 to 93 octane, No alcohol. Tanks should be full to prevent accumulation of water during storage until next year. Get them all running this year.

When you say fuel do you mean gas or diesel? If you watch Taryl's fuel test video it seems it doesn't make much difference, 87 octane E-10 keeps as good as anything. I put a little diesel in the E-10 for our Farmall C, hoping it will reduce rust in the gas tank, it runs fine on it.

Don't use e10 in these old tractors. It will clean out the fuel tanks, but all the crap will end up in the carburetors. Gas tractors of course.

I use no ethanol marine gas with some StaBil in it in all the tractors I don't use in the winter. Shut the gas off and run the carbs dry--no problems.

All I've ever used is E-10 in my gas tractors and lawn tractors. For 15 years I've added 1 oz of Stabil per 2.5 gal gas each fall. Never had a "no start" in the following spring or up to a year or more later. Works for me!!

I put E10 in mine with a shot of 2cycle oil. Just enough to make it blue. Started my pressure washer today that had'nt been run since last fall and it ran with no problems.
