fuel gauge

Does anyone know where I can acuire a replacement fuel gauge for a MF 35 gas engine? Agco doesn't list a part for it. Thanks.

Wengers and Russel tractor parts have used fuel gages to fit your 35. Pricey but I have had good luck with their parts.

I found one at Princess Auto (in Canada), here is a link to it.

It went on sale for $10 so I figured I'd give it a try. Fit right in the hole and has been working for a year and a half so far with no problem.
I'm sure you could either mail order it from there or find one from some source in the States.
Unless you are looking for an original looking one. I just needed one that worked.

Thanks Inno. I am in Toronto and see the gauge in their catalogue but didn't know if it would work for the tractor. I will try it and you saved me a lot of grief.

Well, I filled the gas tank as the directions said and installed the gauge from Princess Auto and the gauge reads "full". When I shut off the power, the gauge went to zero. Hopefully the gauge will decline as I use up the tank. Thanks to all who participated especially INNO.

Glad to hear it worked. As I said, in a year and a half I have had no trouble with mine. If it ever fails I'm not out much and can get a replacement quickly. Sure beats running out of gas!
