Fuel leak at injector pump.

4020D starts and runs well but R-M CBC injector pump assembly is seeping fuel at mounting point. Does this suggest a bad O-ring or is 'root problem' further up in pump?

Have you checked the oil level to see if the drive shaft seal is not the problem? If it is o.k. then it is probably the seal on the governor thrust button.It takes a special gauge to set the height of the throttle shaft once the new seal is installed.Sorry for being the bearer of bad news.You may get lucky and find a diesel pump shop that still has a new seal.Don't remember what they look like.Been years,maybe just an o-ring.
