fuel line issue?

Ive got a 1977 MF285 Diesel. I've repeated had an issue while using the tractor after awhile it all of a sudden will die and I've got air in the fuel line. I
disconnected the main line to the lift pump and no fuel would flow until tapped the line and it would eventually flow again. The tank was corroded inside so I
replaced the shut off valve and relined the tank. Thinking that was the source of my issue. So after doing that it happened again today. I'm thinking I should
replace that fuel line in case there's something in there, but is there something else I could be missing. I've replaced the lift pump and fuel filters.

I had a similar problem on a 245 diesel with the same fuel line plugging. I ran a 17 gauge wire through it with some carb cleaner and got it clear. Since you replaced the lift pump and shut off valve maybe there was some residual grit that plugged it up again. If it doesn't have any cracks on the ends and no other leaks I would keep using it after you clean it out. It doesn't take much of an air leak to cause problems so double check all of the fuel supply fittings to ensure you haven't created more problems.

Any rubber line on there anywhere? Maybe a short section right at the filters? A couple of times I've been bamboozled by similar problems and found rubber lines that look perfectly fine on the outside are degrading/falling apart inside.
