fuel problem 2955 update

Finally got the time to take the injector pump off and to a repair facility. The head was seized due to water contamination in fuel. Quote for rebuild was $1200-1400.

I just wanted to let the folks know that commented on what I found out.

Now would be the time to drain and clean the fuel tank, blow out the lines and change fuel filters. And add a fuel filter change as part of a regular maintenance schedule, not when the tractor starts missing or loosing power. Maybe clean out your bulk tank and add a water absorbing filter, and try to keep the fuel tank full on the tractor to lessen the chance of condensation building up.
